busted out the tie and razor yesterday to make an attempt at professionality. didn't do too bad. had to wear a sweater as my tie job was pretty poor and it was just a wee bit short. actually, a lot short. anyway, got another haircut on monday, so i was lookin' good. especially after i zipped up my fly. yeah, key.
yesterday i interviewed at the FHCRC for a project coordinator position. the position is responsible for managing grant submissions, primarily, and other project issues, additionally. basically an administrative position. could be a great place to start to get into project management positions. anyway, the person who interviewed me had a positive impression and said that she'd pass my resume on to the lab heads with a recommendation that i get a second interview. those lab heads (mostly MD's) will then decide who gets a second interview, based on her input and the resumes. not too shabby.
still taking it easy from being sick. the sinuses are starting to come around. i can actually taste my coffee now, which is a plus. my taste has been pretty poor and i couldn't really taste the coffee properly. i was getting a lot of the ass end of the flavors. ick!
