sadness
friend and fellow racer brad lewis passed at our race today. he aparently suffered a heart attack during the race and crashed as a result.
i will greatly miss his humor and friendliness at bike races and riding about town. he was always around and buddy to a lot of guys in this community of racers and riders.
brad was one of the guys who made bike racing and the bike racing community as fun and rewarding as it is. he was always friendly and having fun at races. he would talk to anybody and generally just had a great attitude. his large presence as a cat1/2 and in the community in general will be greatly missed.
we are very saddened.
there will be a memorial vigil will be held at recycled cycles.

This news is seriously heartbreaking. Brad was the nicest guy and a great husband to Emily.

Brad was the nicest guy in the pack. Never a bad word to say about anyone, always a friendly guy to talk to, and a really good human being. He will be missed by all.
